The Top 1 Cryptocurrency to Purchase Before It Increases by 20,000%, Per MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) has been among the world's top-performing assets over the last ten years. From only $100 to its present $65,000 value, its value has soared. The good news is that there could still be time to take advantage of Bitcoin's exceptional upward potential. MicroStrategy's creator and executive chairman, Michael Saylor, predicts that by 2045, Bitcoin will be worth $13 million. Given current pricing, that suggests further profits of almost 20,000%. Although that may seem unlikely, there are at least two plausible explanations for why it may occur.
Corporate and institutional adoption
The increasing institutional and corporate embrace of Bitcoin is one important cause, according to Saylor. New financial products are being developed to expose investors to Bitcoin, which is increasingly seen on Wall Street as a separate asset class. Perhaps the finest illustration of this is the recently introduced spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which went live in January. And when it comes to corporate and institutional acceptance, that's only the beginning. Cathie Wood of Ark Invest, for instance, has listed eight distinct applications for Bitcoin, all of which contribute to the increase in demand for the cryptocurrency on a worldwide scale. The main use case for Bitcoin thus far has been that it is a store of value, with central banks and institutional investors purchasing it in place of gold. It's unlikely that this demand would be sufficient to drive Bitcoin to record-breaking 20,000% gains. However, things become fascinating when you consider Bitcoin's intrinsic scarcity. There are now 19.8 million Bitcoins in circulation, with a 21 million coin lifetime supply ceiling. The Bitcoin algorithm predicts that over the course of the next 100+ years, the remaining supply will gradually disappear. Generally, there is upward pressure on prices when demand is expanding quickly but supply is not.

Bitcoin as next "sound money"

The potential for Bitcoin to overtake the US dollar as the world's primary reserve currency is a second important consideration. Saylor calls Bitcoin "sound money," a distinction from fiat money, which he believes is fundamentally broken. For instance, government expenditures in the US have resulted in a $35 trillion national debt. Printing additional money is the only way to pay off all of that debt, which would further weaken the value of the US currency. That strategy has been effective thus far, but the enormous debt pile may eventually crumble. This is already beginning to be realized by certain investors, who are switching from dollars to Bitcoin. This constant flow can eventually become a tsunami. As a matter of fact, Saylor has now emphasized 2025 as the beginning of what he calls a ten-year "digital gold rush." At that point, Bitcoin may truly become popular, and everyone will be searching for the most effective strategy to get visibility.
